Parker Sargent curated the exhibition Safehaven: Gay Life in 1950's Cherry Grove at the New York Historical Society. This collection of outstanding photos and ephemera received great acclaim from The New York Times, OUT and Vogue Magazine, NBC News and The Village Voice.

Sargent has produced exhibitions with many queer creators, like performance artist Keioui Keijaun Thomas, as well as the photographers Koitz, Francesca Galliani and Lola Flash.
